Cinematic Realism

Cinematic realism

Cinematic realism is not a specific genre or way of understanding. It’s the way to describe how realistic it may seem for a certain standard. It’s a way to understand how one relates to the cinema. Do we actually see through the lense of the camera. With a bird's eye view or vast expanse of a fish eye lense we see created scenes. Certain authors and directors express this in different forms and ways. Using terms only other film critics and movie enthusiasts would know. What makes a scene real, is it scripted or staged or is it a scene of everyday life cropped to the director's viewpoint. Each scene, cut, music background, actor, and cameraman has a thing they want to make it connect to them. Either through creativity of the right side of the mind. To the understanding that is it believable to the left side of the brain. The articulations made are from a certain people’s imaginations with their background and viewpoint to create or recreate certain moments of life either in past or future. Magi or superpowers to explain the supernatural we have. Can you explain what what is staged and what was a memory. Can you remember.a certain event and recreate it due to techniques and technology we have now. What about the future. Even through Marketing, it’s all the power in how you look at things. Not how you imagine them unless you go against the norm, the “Real” as some may say. I believe that we can control certain things but certain things are through persuasion and a trick of the mind.
